More about me
I provide calm, compassionate support for adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, stress, and major life transitions. With more than 35 years of experience, I help individuals move beyond simply getting through the day and begin to understand the deeper patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping them stuck.
For more than a decade, I have been a contributing relationship columnist for Macomb Now Magazine, sharing insights on the topics that matter most in our connections with others.
My approach
My approach to psychotherapy integrates empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to understanding each person’s unique journey. I practice from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective, which emphasizes insight-oriented treatment.
With this emphasis, our therapeutic work together will consider your experiences in the present in light of your past experiences and identify patterns of behavior that may be preventing you from moving forward.
Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery. Together, we will find new ways for you to react to life’s challenges, feel more in control, and steadily increase your mental health and overall well-being.
